PAFO has released a report on challenges faced by the Farmers and responses already in place or recommended. The study presents an inventory and assesses the effects of the health crisis on the agricultural sector in Africa, with a particular focus on Family Farms and food supply chains. The continental study report highlights (brings into attention) the extent of the Covid-19 impact on the African farmers and calls upon the respective governments as well as partners and stakeholders to work towards implementing the proposed recommendations. Common challenges are presented and appropriate recommendations are proposed.
