On Tuesday 27 June at 11:00 CEST, we will close the series of webinars on experience capitalization, organized since the end of March in the framework of the regional initiative YenKasa Africa, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), with its OPenACP-FO4AC Programme.
Several YenKasa Africa partners volunteered to share their capitalization experiences. We will have the pleasure of welcoming the Peasant Platform of Niger (PFPN), the Togolese Coordination of Peasant Organizations (CTOP TOGO) and Farm Radio International (FRI). In addition to this sharing and the usual question-and-answer session, this webinar will draw conclusions and make the latest recommendations in terms of experience capitalization.

Experience capitalization is a systematic, iterative, and participatory process of analysing and documenting experiences, leading to knowledge that can be shared and used to generate change. This methodology is crucial for organizations to learn from past experiences and improve future performance. Experience capitalization can be applied to different sectors of activity in different contexts, including agriculture, fisheries, forestry, health, education and many others.
Through this webinar series, YenKasa Africa, a communication initiative for family farming and rural development in Africa, is developing the capacity of its members to better share their knowledge and experiences. The webinars complement and do not replace the online course “Capitalization of experiences for continuous learning” available on the FAO Digital Academy website. The online course is available in four languages: English, French, Spanish, and Russian. This video describes how to access the course.
